Mr. Colthurst, since 1971, has held positions in local government and at the University of California, San Diego. He concurrently serves, through the University, with the Higher Education Center on Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention (associate director) and the Pacific Southwest addiction Technology Transfer Center (co-director).

Ms. Ryan is editor
of several nationally-circulated periodicals:
(published by the Silver Gate Group) She co-authored the College Alcohol Risk Assessment Guide (1994, 1997) and numerous other monographs and reports for various clients.
Lance Segars,
PhD,
Director of Evaluation Services
Dr. Segars, also
an adjunct faculty member at the San
Diego State University School of Social Work, has installed, managed,
and trained others in community surveillance systems, directed treatment
follow-up studies, and conducted prevention demonstration evaluations.
